Our story
Why we run junk removal and mold remediation together
Chase Walkup founded The Mold Men to fix the whole problem, not just the visible part of it. A cluttered basement or crawl space is often what is hiding a moisture source in the first place — so our crews are equipped to clear a property down to bare structure, identify what is really going on underneath, and remediate it properly, following IICRC S520 practice throughout.
That combination is unusual, and it is deliberate. Most homeowners calling about mold have never called a remediation company before, and most calling about junk removal do not realize the two problems are often connected. We built the business to handle both, with the same crew, on the same visit if that is what the job needs.
